With a passion to preserve the environment for future generations, VE are a leading renewable energy organisation that operates both as an asset owner and operator on behalf of others.

LAT were commissioned to assist with VE’s commitment to revitalising the NHS’ estates with renewable and green energy sources. We did this by utilising a DJI commercial-off-the-shelf drone to conduct photogrammetry surveys of 4 sites throughout Yorkshire.

This allowed LAT to capture high-resolution imagery, generate 3D digital environments, and conduct the solar feasibility study that consisted of identifying usable square metreage, highlighting key infrastructure positioned on the roof tops, and generating accurate slope elevations.

The deliverables allowed VE and its clients to realise their solar energy output.
